May is one of the most spectacular and tasteful months in California and it's time again to celebrate the Taste of the Nation in Santa Barbara on May 19. With over 20 restaurants and chefs bringing you delectable edibles and local wineries brining plenty of sip worthy wines, this is one event for your gastronomical senses and for your heart.

The event ticket sales support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger in Santa Barbara and across the nation. Local charities that will benefit from this year’s event include Santa Barbara Food Bank, California Food Policy Advocates and California Association of Food Banks.

San Francisco Vintners Market Spring Wine in the City is brining close to 200 wines for you to try and you can also buy them at the event. There will be many local wines from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara and other regions as well as imported wines and the event will be held at the historic Fort Mason Center. We were at a past wine event at the Fort Mason center and the views are just breathtaking. 

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to release Miraval rosé

We are delighted that this Valentine's Day brings the news of the release of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adventure in wine with Miraval rosé! The grapes were sourced from the 1,000 acre organic estate Chateau Miraval in France, which Angelina and Brad purchased in 2011 and the wine should become available this March. The rosé had been called "Pink Floyd" for past releases since the rock band Pink Floyd had recorded an album in the chateau's studio.
